Roadtrip To Pittsburgh To Watch Bills Defeat Steelers 26-7 |
|---|
11/30/2025 - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - I was up early on this NFL Sunday morning checking Ticketmaster and The Weather Channel. I picked up a last minute ticket to watch Sean McDermott's Buffalo Bills take on Mike Tomlin's Pittsburgh Steelers at downtown Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium. The game was a 4:25PM start, so I packed my stuff and I jumped in the car and headed West down 490 to 90 West to 79 South and finally 279 South into downtown Pittsburgh. I anticipated parking issues and pre-purchased a spot in the parking garage on 6th St just over the Ruberto Clemente Bridge, a good spot for 20 bucks only a 10 minute cold walk to the stadium. I arrived at the stadium almost 3 hours early and toured around the area including PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium and local tailgates. I entered the stadium and went to my club seat on the 25yard line that included access to indoor restaurants, bars and nice lounges with large video screens to watch all the games. A great experience as good as or maybe a little better than Jim Kelly club at Highmark, except no heated seats! It was a pretty cold day and the Bills started very slowly in the first half with an interception, fumble and a couple punts after managing a field goal being down 7-3, but they rebounded for an awesome second half to soundly beat the Steelers by a score of 26-7. The Bill's Josh Allen threw a touchdown to Keon Coleman and ran for another which was the 76th rushing TD of his career, giving him the record for the most ever by a quarterback. The Bills offense played without their two starting tackles in this game but they dominated running the ball with James Cook running for a 144 yards and Ray Davis running for 62 yards and Allen adding another 38 yards. The Bill's defense dominated with Joey Bosa sacking Aaron Rodgers and causing a fumble picked up by Christian Benford who ran it in from 17 yards out for the score. A great win for the Bills at an excellent facility, Acrisure Stadium. This game was definitely worth the drive on this cold November day. On this cold day sitting in the club level was a brilliant move. I was stuck in the parking garage for a little bit trying to exit post game but after that delay I was non-stop all the way back to Hilton to put an end of another successful getaway to see another Bills win.Slideshow | | <<<-   <-   ->   ->>> Buffalo Bills vs Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Nov 30, 2025
