Elvis Costello And The Imposters Bring Their Jams To Artpark

8/9/2022 - Lewiston, New York - Today is Tuesday in August and you know what that means, thats right, another Artpark Tuesday In The Park Concert. Tonight's artist the classic rock of Elvis Costello and the Imposters on their The Boy Named If & Other Favourites Tour. It was another great evening for a show although a little cloudy but rain free. The show was not a sellout but appeared to be close to it, but I was able to get my usual spot without any problem. The opener for the show today was an American singer Nicole Atkins, she played a good acoustic set and would later join Elvis for several numbers during his set. Elvis and the Imposters followed shortly after the opener and played many of Elvis's classics. It included classic hits like Watching The Detectives, Pump It Up, Accidents Will Happen and closing out the set with What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love and Understanding. The band was pretty good and Elvis did a good job on vocals. He came out for a single encore of Alison. Another good show at Artpark and a good first time seeing Elvis Costello perform. This was my last show at Artpark this season due to vacation time, can't wait until next year.Slideshow
