 7/3/2021 - Olcott, New York - Every third of July we sneak down NY Route 18 West to Olcott, New York to see their Independence Day firework celebration. We missed it last year since Covid cancelled the event. It was a perfect night and we found good spots to get the tripods out and get some decent shots. It was clear and it was a nice sunset that provided excellent views of the city of Toronto across Lake Ontario. Olcott has traditionally lit up the skies over Lake Ontario on the third of July and this time was even sweeter since the cancellation last year made it a two year wait to see them again. People were happy to be out enjoying the evening and an okay but always too short fireworks display over the lake. We will probably be back next year...Slideshow |
