Freebie CMAC Show With Little River Band, Firefall And Coley

8/9/2024 - Canandaigua, New York - Today, we headed south down to one of our favorite summer venues, CMAC, for another freebie show courtesy of Deb the contest queen, to see the Little River Band, Firefall and John Ford Coley. Weather was a definite factor as Hurricane Debby was flooding areas all around but cleared out with a beautiful rainbow to allow for a great evening of music. We had free tickets under the roof far back left stage, just okay. John Ford Coley opened the show playing a good solo set of hits. He told many stories and played classics like I'd Really Love To See You Tonight and Love Is The Answer. He was a good opener and entertained the CMAC crowd. After Coley, Firefall hit the stage and also did a good set. It included their classics Just Remember I Love You, You Are The Woman and their hit Strange Way. Firefall closed their set with Mexico, again a good performance by them providing the classics. After a brief intermission the Little River Band hit the stage. They did a good set of their classics and even played new material. They opened with a great jam on It's A Long Way There. They also played all their classics like Happy Anniversary, The Night Owls and Lady. They sounded good, much better than the last time we saw them at Kodak Center. The closed the show with Lonesome Loser. A good show that was at a great venue that just dodged a hurricane and oh yea it was free, thanks Deb !Slideshow
