 3/27/2015 - Maui, Hawaii - The long trip to our home away from home Maui, started at three in the morning today. We hopped in the car and drove to Buffalo Niagara International Airport, catching an early flight to Newark. We then caught a flight from Newark non-stop all the way to Honolulu, which was long but smooth and arrived on time. We had a small layover in Honolulu grabbing some airport food and then caught the final leg of our flights on a Hawaiian Air flight to Kahalui Airport in Maui. We picked up our rental car and drove across Maui finally completing our long journey to our home away from home the condos at Kaanapali Shores. It was late when we arrived and we were tired but we got into the condo and had a late dinner at the Beach Club. We started are first day by chilling at the ocean front pool. We then took a road trip back to Kahalui Walmart to get supplies and stopped at Krispy Kremes for a donut fix. We headed the Lahaina area where we pulled out the DJI Phantom 2 drone for some aerials of the Lahaina area and the mountains of western Maui. We then headed back to the condo and took in a nice Maui sunset. We finished the day heading into are favorite island town of Lahaina for a nice dinner at the Hard Rock Café and did some browsing at the shops and art galleries.
