 4/19/2014 - Lahaina, Hawaii - The Maui experience continues with us just relaxing and enjoying the things we love to do here. The days start with the morning walks on Kaanapali Beach to watch the sun come up. We headed back to our favorite Maui town Lahaina, this time we headed to Lahaina Kayaks to rent some kayaks. We paddled out into the ocean and encountered some sea turtles and monk seals. The views from offshore of the island of Maui were simply fantastic. After the kayaking we stopped at Gallerie 505 and took in some nice classic rock paintings from the local artist Davo. We then stopped for lunch at our favorite burger sandwich restaurant in Lahaina, Jay's Place. We headed back to Kaanapali Shores to chill poolside. We then drove west for our annual climb down to see Nakalele Blowhole up close. We were back at Kaanapali Shores to take in a spectacular sunset, after which we headed back to Lahaina for some shopping and art gallery browsing. The highlight was at the Kush Fine Art Gallery Dom's favorite where Dom got to meet and get his book signed by the artist Vladamir Kush in person.
