Subs,Whales,& Dolphins Maui Continues - Part IV |

 4/15/2007 - Maui. Hawaii - The Maui adventure continued with a journey to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in the Atlantis Submarine. We picked up a boat from Lahaina which brought us to the sub where we saw plenty of fish and a shipwreck at the bottom of the Pacific. The adventure continued with a whale watch expedition with the Pacific Whale Foundation. On this trip we followed a pod of humpback whales for 45 minutes being entertained by tons of head splashes and breaches. We then encountered a school of bottlenosed dolphins and finally a school of spinner dolphins who put on a spectacular show. The spinner dolphins flipped and somersaulted out of the water and raced the boat it was an awesome sight. A most excellent adventure which impressed everyone ! In between all that we had good food, saw beautiful beaches, awesome sunsets and breathtaking rainbows ! Part 1 2 3 5Slideshow | |
