 4/9/2007 - Maui, Hawaii - The adventure to tropical Maui began very early today, with a twelve hour plane ride from Rochester to Chicago to Maui. A smooth long flight. The long trip did not disappoint as Maui was gorgeous. Our condo at Kaanapali Shores was excellent offering tremendous views of the island of Malakai, Lanai and the Pacific Ocean. Upon are arrival we drove to Lahaina and enjoyed a Cheesburger In Paradise, which offered burgers and spectacular ocean views. We spent are first days exploring the western coast of Maui along the Honoapi'lani Highway and were greeted by a rainbow, enjoyed swimming in our ocean front pool, and watched a beautiful sunset.
